Khaliji — Drums of Arabia

Khaliji is designed for the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt.

Installing Khaliji — Drums of Arabia

Six steps.

  • 01

    Download the library

After downloading Khaliji, place the complete Khaliji folder in the location where you want to keep your sample libraries. Keep the folder and its contents together.

  • 02

    Open Kontakt

Launch the full version of Kontakt either as a standalone application or inside your DAW.

  • 03

    Locate Khaliji

In Kontakt, open the Files browser and navigate to the location where you saved the Khaliji folder. You can access the library directly from this location whenever you want to load an instrument or kit.

  • 04

    Load an instrument

To load an individual percussion instrument: Khaliji → Instruments → choose an instrument. Select the instrument you want to use and load it into Kontakt. The Instruments folder contains the individual percussion instruments included with Khaliji.

  • 05

    Load a Multi

Khaliji also includes Multis, which combine multiple instruments into complete percussion setups. To load one: Khaliji → Multis → choose a Multi. Multis are especially important when using the included MIDI grooves because each groove is designed around its corresponding kit. For example, when working with a groove from the Saudi Kit, load the matching Saudi Kit Multi first.

  • 06

    Start playing

Once the instrument or Multi has loaded, Khaliji is ready to use from your MIDI keyboard, DAW or MIDI editor. You can now play the instruments directly or begin working with the included MIDI grooves.

Important

Before you file a support request.

Khaliji requires the full version of Kontakt. Kontakt Player alone is not listed as supported by the original Khaliji documentation.

If an included MIDI groove does not sound as expected, make sure you have loaded the corresponding Multi for that groove first.
